This years Flyers team certainly has displayed great balls of fire throughout the season, but tonight the players and fans will have "Great Balls of Flyer" instead.

Another great move by the Flyers Marketing Department, indicating that teams with lower "intestinal fortitude" for lack of a better term, are the ones who win hockey games and bring home Lord Stanley's Cup.
In other Flyers related news, Illya Kovalchuk is out for tonights game. It was speculated before the series that he had some lingering injury issues and that looks to be the case. The left winger will not lace up the skates tonight, making a 2-0 deficit a logical reality for the Devils.
Also, beginning next fall, Flyers games will be moving from the WIP radio airwaves to 97.5 The Fanatic. This was announced late afternoon. A reason for the move could be the fact that WIP was broadcasting Phillies games on the FM dial (94.1) and Flyers playoff games on the AM switch (610). WIP has now lost both the Sixers and Flyers to The Fanatic in the span of a week.
